The merchant's mark of Thomas Horton (d.1530), wool merchant of Ilford; used on Wiltshire English woolens sent to Flanders. From a monumental brass in the church of Bradford-on-Avon, engraved about 1520. Cf. Wiltshire Notes and Queries, Book No. 4, Chapter 5 pp. 22-3.
