Horsell Common SSSI

Horsell Common SSSI is a Site of Special Scientific Interest in Surrey, England.[1]. It is 750 hectares[2] and lies near Horsell, a suburb on the outskirts of Woking.

Horsall Common was chosen by H.G. Wells as the site of the first Martian landing in The War of the Worlds.
