Horse and Jockey

Horse and Jockey (An Marcach) is a village in County Tipperary, Republic of Ireland, on the N8 National Primary Route from Dublin to Cork. It is situated 8 km (5 mi) south of Thurles, at the junction of the N8 and the N62.

- Horse and Jockey railway station opened on 1 July 1880, closed for passenger traffic on 9 September 1963 and finally closed altogether on 27 March 1967.[1]
