Hornby, Lancashire
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hornby is a small village in Lancashire, situated close to where the River Wenning joins the River Lune.
Hornby Castle overlooks the village, and in the centre of the village is St Margaret's Church with its octagonal tower.
Despite the castle now being separated into several flats, it is still seen as one of the most recognisable points of the village - although tourists cannot gain access to its grounds.
