Hormizd VI

Hormizd VI, twenty-eighth King of Persia, was one of the many nobility who rose after the murder of Khosrau II (590–628) in 628. He maintained himself about two years (631–632) in the district of Nisibis.
There was also an usurper King called Hormizd V. He ruled briefly in 593.
