Horahora is a suburb on the southwestern side of Whangarei, in Northland, New Zealand.
The population was 1,026 in the 2006 Census, an increase of 48 from 2001.[1]

Hora Hora School is a coeducational contributing primary (years 1-6) school with a decile rating of 2 and a roll of 318.[2] The school opened in 1893 and moved to its present site in 1925.[3]
