Horological museums are specialized museums dedicated to horology, i.e museums dealing with timekeeping and timekeepers. They usually explore the history of watches and clocks from various angles, including a decorative arts, history of science, and technical perspective.
Besides museums dedicated to horology a large number of museums around the globe have either horological departments or show a few horological artefacts in their general collection.
