Hopedale Medical Complex

The Hopedale Medical Complex is a community medical center located in Hopedale, Illinois. Founded by Dr. Lawrence Rossi in 1955, the hospital and surrounding facilities are owned and operated by the not-for-profit, charitable corporation known as "The Hopedale Medical Foundation." The complex offers a continuum of care services, including a modern acute care hospital, nursing home, independent and assisted living as well as a large (34,000 sq feet) Wellness Center.

[edit] The Hopedale Hospital
The Hopedale Hospital offers a 24-hour emergency room, ICU, general and advanced vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic/reconstructive surgery, Open MRI and a new (2004)"16-slice" CT Scanner capable of doing full body/heart scans and virtual colonoscopy. Hopedale Medical Complex also offers physician services through three satellite offices in Altanta, Manito and Mackinaw (see Physician Services).

Hopedale Commons is an assisted living facility totaling 88 units. The Commons is conveniently located next door to the hospital, nursing home, physician offices and wellness center making it a perfect location for the elderly who prefer to live close to quality medical care.
[edit] Hopedale Nursing Home
Hopedale Nursing Home is a 74 bed licensed facility offering 24-hour nursing care. It is physically connected to Hopedale Hospital and to Physicians' offices by a common corridor for the convenience of our residents and their families. A 26 room addition was added to the Hopedale Nursing Home in fall of 2000 offering private accommodations. This addition was named the "Hillman Pavilion" in memory of Elmer and Viola Hillman, who made a financial contribution towards the construction.
[edit] Hopedale Wellness Center
Hopedale Wellness Center, which opened July 4, 2002, is a facility containing an indoor gym, walking track, three therapy pools (including 75 foot lap pool) large cardiovascular area featuring exercise equipment, locker rooms, day care, and conference room. The Wellness Center is the home of the physical therapy department. It offers a large array of services including water aerobics, aquatics therapy, yoga, Pilates, child and adult karate, and day care.
