Description	Auckland Island, Southern Ocean Image of a New Zealand Sea Lion pup hanging around a coastwatchers' hut on Auckland Island waiting for its mum to return from a feeding expedition. Usually they conceal themselves very well and you run the risk of trading on them as you tramp through the vegetation but this one must have felt confident or was taken by surprise.
