[edit] Speculative fiction vs. Science fiction

Hubbard was a writer in the pulps, which meant he wrote everything under the sun. Speculative fiction is not too broad a term, it's too narrow, because it doesn't include the westerns and the romances he wrote as well, but it's close enough. Science fiction, on the other hand, doesn't even remotely cover the man's fiction output, so that's a no-go. He may be known primarily for sci-fi, but that was only around 20% of his actual output. --GoodDamon 19:22, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
