[edit] Summary

I took this picture of a light gray Motorola MicroTAC. This phone, with a 1990 manufactor date and 1989 software date, is rather unusual. It is light gray in color with gold side grips and volume buttons. What makes it so unusual is the fact that it features the 1989 body styling of the alpha-numeric models, but houses a base-model DPC. Base DPC's did not get volume buttons like this, nor did they have the distinguished keypad of higher-end 89 models. Also, the software version lacks a menu or battery meter.

The phone was made by Motorola for Honolulu Cellular, and is very similar to the white Business Classic made for Cellular One.
