The Taipei Metro Hongshulin Station is located in the sea-side township of Danshui in Taipei County. It is a station on the Danshui Line. The position of station could be traced back the same name station of defunct TRA Tanshui Line.

The station is situated east of Zhongzheng West Road, around Bashe Road Entrance. The address of the station is No.68, Zhongzheng East Road Sector 2, Tamsui Township, Taipei County. The name of the station derives from the protected habitat 'Hongshulin', the Hongshulin environmental protection zone is located west of the station. The station is an at-grade structure with two side platforms and two exits. The washrooms are located within the poll area of the station.
