Hong Kong Second Wave is a term used by film critics to describe a group of Hong Kong film directors in late 1980s to 1990s. The most notable directors belong to Hong Kong Second Wave includes Wong Kar Wai, Fruit Chan, Stanley Kwan, Clara Law, Peter Chan and Evans Chan.
