The Hong Kong Discuss Forum (traditional Chinese: 香港討論區) is a popular Internet forum among Internet users in Hong Kong. It is one of the most frequently visited forum in Hong Kong other than Uwants and Golden Forum. It consists of 2 million members and it has over 800 thousand visits every day.[citation needed]

Beginning (161 period) The original HK Discuss was founded on 17 Feb 2003.It was named hk161 which mainly focus on horse racing. It was a BBS that adopted phpBB 2.06 technique.
Developing (141 period) On 31 July 2003, some new themes such as "Picture Zone" and "Chat Zone"were added in the forum and the forum was renamed as "141". During this period of time, the number of member grew readily which provided a good foundation for further development.
Present On 2 Feb 2004, it was named HK DISCUSS. The website was confirmed to be the permanent website of the forum. In March 2004, HK Discuss turned to a more stable server. At the same time, it used a new technique called Discuz!3.0.

Hong Kong Discuss Forum's income mainly comes from advertisement. Its main clients include Systematic Computer Training Centre、Dao Heng、2TheMax、Go2Tutor.com、Orbis、Dragon Centre、Modern education etc.

According to Alexa Internet, which tracks web traffic around the world, Hong Kong Discuss Forum ranks as the second most visited website in Hong Kong, and the fifth most visited website in neighbouring Macau. Additionally, it is also within the top 100 most visited website globally.[1]
