Honda SuperClasico

The Honda SuperClasico, a.k.a. El Clásico Angelino, is a local derby between Major League Soccer teams Los Angeles Galaxy and C.D. Chivas USA and is considered as the only "true" local derby in the MLS with both teams being based in the city of Los Angeles, California.
For this particular derby, the name "Superclásico" comes from the Mexican superclásico between América and Chivas. This term is also used for the famous Boca Juniors vs. River Plate derby in Buenos Aires (El Superclásico). The derby is sponsored by auto company Honda.
In 2008 the derby will be 3 league games (in addition to any US Open Cup or playoff matches). From 2005-2007, the derby was 4 league games. All games are played at The Home Depot Center which is the home of the LA Galaxy and where Chivas USA plays their home games.
