[edit] 2003 Release

The 2003 Honda CRF150F took style from Honda's Racing bikes with tuned suspension and powerful 158cc engine. A 5 speed manual transmission and O ring chain power the Pirelli MT18 tires through the toughest mud holes. Topping it off is a large 240mm hydrolic disc brake for excellent stopping power and Pro-Link Showa Forks great for landing jumps.

(Note: These features are common on all years.)

[edit] 2005 Revision

For the '05 Year Honda changed the CRF150F graphics to a more race style graphics of that found on the R series.

2006 Honda CRF150F with Electric Start

On September 06, 2005, Honda revealed an all new CRF150F for the 2006 model year. The biggest changes were to the engine. In previous years, the 150F's engine was a smaller version of the 230F. Less power with almost the same weight. In 2006, Honda totally redid the engine with a different Compression ratio, 9.5:1 and a Bore/Stroke ratio of 57.3 x 57.8. The overall weight savings of the new 149cc motor were significant with an increase in power as well. Another big change was an all new electric start system, no more kicking. The battery is nicely concealed under the left sidepanel out of the way from water or mud. With the new light weight engine, the '06 150F with extra electric start system now weights about the same as the 2005 model.
