[edit] Evolution
I believe homo sapiens are evolving, but to which end I cannot predict. There seems to be favouritism towards developed countries, meaning those living in the third world are worst off. The reasons vary from cultural to socio-economical. There is a greater concentration of genetic variety amongst these people, especially in Africa. This would sustain diversity and prolong our existence as a spicies, but desease, femine and war also seems to be putting these people at risk of extinction. As a people many of them seem to lack the genetic traits to be self sufficient and as a result, are unable to eliviate themselves from the inevitable. A new spicies of man is coming and its arrival will be met with fear and lack of tolerance, as is always the case between different groups of people. We are a rapidly evolving spicies, highly adaptable and highly intelligent, to the point of self-distruction. Thabang Ngoma, Kempton Park, Johannesburg, RSA.
