[edit] Couch Gag
The couch gag for this episode seemed like a very long one to me, probably not the longest, but it could be in the top five. If so, I think it would be worth saying, but I don't know where to put it. If anyone knows the exact length of the episode, or where the information could be mentioned, that would be great. 207.58.230.130 12:14, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
- I added it, but it could use more detail. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.236.165.20 (talk) 22:46, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
- The episode can be rewatched online here if anyone cares to add more detail: http://www.watchtvsitcoms.com/simpsons.php - Throw 13:36, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Homage to Pavaroti?
WE took this episode to be a homage to Pavaroti. Whenever he was on stage in his later career he needed supports and the elephants towing Homer made reference to his weight. Trappist99 (talk) 14:13, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- Who is this we? And I think it is pure coincidence, because after all, they made jokes about Homer's weight before this episode. -- Scorpion0422 16:23, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
