[edit] References for regulations, usage or other information regarding lettering of a ships home port on the hull

- I removed fact request. hull lettering, but not position, is indicated in first reference. better references (indicating for example which countries or international organization does this apply to) still desired. JetheroTalk 20:54, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Found the requirement for home port on stern of vessel: 46 CFR 67.123 applies to ships under US flag. It's safe to presume other countries have the same requirement, as all observed vessels in merchant service bear both the vessel's name and home port on the stern.Alan 13:51, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
