Home of Ithiel Town, Hillhouse Avenue, New Haven, CT. Although designed in the Greek Revival style by Town himself, the building is shown here with later Italianate embellishments (e.g. towers, etc.) added by noted New Haven architect Henry Austin. Yale University would complete the transformation by razing it.
