Homolje is a settlement in Yugoslavia.

In the elder days this space was inhabited by various tribes. Ilyirians, Dacians, Thracians, Tribali, then came Celts, Romans, Goths and Sas. Slovens came in the middle of 6th century Ottoman conquer of this area has increased migration to the north. After the great migration of Serbs to the north (to Hungary and St.Andrea) a new settlers came - Kosovo population (Serbs and Montenegrians)
A vast majority of Homolje population are Vlachs of Daco-Roman origin. There are very few written documents about population of Homolje.

Although rather isolated,rural and mountain area, a small group of dedicated young people managed to bring high-speed wireless broadband internet across Homolian mountain range last year. Now they struggle to acquire even bigger goal,preparing the necessity measurements for building a first wind energy power plant in this region.
