Homestead Studio Suites Hotels

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Originally called Homestead Village, it was started in 1992 by Security Capital in Santa Fe, New Mexico with its first properties located in Dallas and Houston. In 2001, Homestead was purchased by the Blackstone Group. Three years later, Homestead's 132 properties were combined with Extended Stay America's 485 hotels to form the new, integrated partnership of Extended Stay Hotels. Fans of the chain lovingly refer to it as "Homeboy Suites" or simply "The Homeboy".
