Homer Township is one of twenty-three townships in Benton County, Iowa, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 222.

Homer Township covers an area of 35.8 square miles and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains two cemeteries: Houghton and Twogood.
