Homalopoma variecostata is a minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Turbinidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand's Three Kings Islands.

This shell is found at depths of between 165 and 475 m.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is small, turbinate, and solid. Distinctive features are three keel-like cords, in addition to an overall cover of linear-spaced weak cords, a moderately wide umbilicus with a crenulated edge, and an effuse expansion of the columellar-basal lip.
Shell coloration is pale pink with irregular patches of light brown. The aperture and peristome are white.
The shell height is up to 1.8 mm, and the width is up to 2.3 mm.
