Homalopoma crassicostata is a minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Turbinidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand, from Foveaux Strait south.

This top shell is found at depths of about 90 m.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is very solid, depressed-turbinate, with a small and deep umbilicus. There are a few strong rounded spiral cords, five or six on the penultimate whorl.
Shell coloration is white, occasionally with irregular brownish maculations.
The shell height is up to 2.5 mm, and the width is up to 3.2 mm.
