Welcome to Esperanza!
Welcome, Hole in the wall, to Esperanza! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.
Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is the StressUnit, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.
In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Proposals.
I encourage you to take an active voice in the running of Esperanza. We have a small government system, headed by our Administrator general, Celestianpower, and guided by the Advisory Committee comprised of JoanneB, Freakofnurture and Titoxd. The next set of elections will be in June, and you are more than welcome to take part, by voting or by listing yourself as a candidate.
If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact Celestianpower by email or talk page or the Esperanza talk page. Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, you may find help at an IRC Tutorial. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!
A short Esperanzial update
As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.
Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 03:34, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:MattLetley.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:MattLetley.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Blood Bowl infobox
Hi, I noticed that you added an infobox to the Blood Bowl article, and similar boxes on Mordheim and Warhammer Fantasy. I'd like to query what the purpose of the boxes is, and where they come from. The Blood Bowl one doesn't seem to be very accurate and in any case contains fields that would be difficult to keep NPOV as currently constructed. MLA 07:14, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- That was a helpful comment... I just added the infobox after reading what was in the articles. I dont oplay either of the games myself, so aren't you talking to the wrong guy here? Hole in the wall 08:53, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- As you were the editor who added the infoboxes and have done so on more than one article, I thought that you might be able to help me to understand what the purpose was. I thought it better to check with you in case it was part of a project or templating exercise that I was unaware of rather than just delete them. As it stands, I intend to edit the infoboxes out subject to an objection. MLA 09:48, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- The purpose of all infoboxes is to show the subject matter at a glance. I have made a template with no POV here. If you could just add this one in at the same time as deleting the others, that would be just great. If not, give me a holla and I'll do it. Hole in the wall 10:15, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- Wow, your really keen to point out a problem, but not so keen to help out. For the record, don't bother telling me a problem that you can't be bothered to help sort out. Capish? Hole in the wall 19:35, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, I didn't resolve the issue mainly because I was unable to do so due to technical restrictions at the IP that I was using and do use during the working week. I could have resolved the situation by simply removing the infobox that you incorrectly added to the page but I chose not to and instead extended the common curtesy of discussing the matter with you first. I will assume good faith and that you simply mid-understood my intentions. MLA 10:46, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I did indeed misunderstand your intentions. From what I could gather, you were one of those useless WikiPedians who are trigger happy to point out a problem, yet do not seem to want to help with the solution. Sorry, and I will remove any referance to you in my comment on Netoholics talk page. Sorry. :-(. Hole in the wall 11:11, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
