I removed the proposed deletion template. To residents of the District of Columbia, Holy Rood is something of a local curiosity - that is, if you should happen by it. It's a plot of isolated, undeveloped and largely untended land in the middle of a concrete commercial corridor, and it is hard not to wonder about its history. A Wikipedia entry is useful for anyone who wants to know a bit more about it. Doubtlessly Wikipedia is full of things that are 'notable' primarily to a small subset of the users, but which articles are still valuable. JohnInDC 20:42, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
