[edit] What is the significance or importance of this article?

I have nothing against this faith but have to question an article about a single church, its building and location. Having only been established within the past 60 years, there seems to be really nothing outstanding about this article. If it is considered noteworthy on the basis of being part of a faith organization, then every other single church, temple, or place of worship should be included in Wikipedia. While I agree that there were numerous other churches which are more deserving of articles, I also recognize that the article is currently more substantial than those for nearly any other Lutheran church. (And it's one of the few with pictures.) For the time being, I have no problem with keeping it, particularly as guidelines for church articles are apparently being discussed (see Wikipedia:Notability (local churches and other religious congregations)). A different approach might eventually come along, but I think deleting the article might be a bit counter-productive for now. A stable 50-year-old congregation in a major denomination is probably more worthy of an article than most churches, so I don't think this would open the floodgates for any and every place of worship regardless of factors such as age, size and affiliation.
