Talk:Holmdel High School

[edit] Early history and diversity
The high school was created before the building and spent at least one year in split session with the middle school (then known as Holmdel Intermediate School). This ended in the school year 1973/74 when the main part of the High School opened for business. Prior to the High School existing students went to Red Bank High School.
The article also mentions 'extreme diversity' in the student body. In my day (late seventies) though it had many students of Asian ancestry, the number with known sub-Saharan African ancestry could be counted on one hand. Has this changed?--Erp 02:29, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
- No, it hasn't changed.--Beta.s2ph
- It's changed slightly. You need two hands now.Cannibalist 02:08, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Controversy
Reverted the information about Mr. Wisinski as it is true. Johnkoryat 16:43, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
And your source for this is? Note that what is stated is not neutral, not supported, and runs possibly perilously close to libel. For instance how do you know no student supports Mr. Wisinski? To include it you would have to have a citation giving a poll of the student body--Erp 18:59, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
The majority of the student body doesn't even know that he exists. He's certainly not the butt of inside jokes of "nearly all" high school students, and that petition was largely ignored by both the administration and many of the students of his classes. Cannibalist 00:37, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
