I came across this very interesting and at times amusing discussion via Google, and here's my input: please delete the whole entry or parts of it as you see fit. If you need any documentation, online or otherwise I'd be happy to supply as much as I can or just delete it all. I am mentioned as one of 4 producers on the official Danish tourist website under music export, I believe there's a link on the Wikiepedia page. Also there's a Hit Quarters link, a very trustworthy industry source.

All my records are IFPI certified, and my Danish Grammy nomination is documented too. Unfortunately I did not have a top 25 in Tibet, but that would have been very cool. Regards, Holger

Mr. Holger Lagerfield, your comments were expected as I knew that you would show up to defend your article page. Self-promotion and product placement are not the routes to having an encyclopedia article. The published works must be someone else writing about the musician, ensemble, composer, or lyricist. (See Wikipedia:Attribution#Self-published sources for details about the reliability of self-published sources, and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest for treatment of promotional, vanity material.) The barometer of notability is whether people independent of YOU have actually considered you as a musician, ensemble, composer, or lyricist notable enough that they have written and published non-trivial works that focus upon YOU. The rationale for this is easy to see -- someone simply talking about themselves in their own personal blog, website, book publisher, etc. does not automatically mean they have sufficient attention in the world at large to be called notable. If that was so then everyone could have an article. Wikipedia is not a directory.

R:ight now, there are two users who feel you may be entitled to your own article under WP:MUSIC, but no one feels you are notable as an engineer - producer as you don't meet WP:BIO guidelines. So, save your documentation for another site. In my view, however, you don't qualify for an article as a SONGWRITER for violation of WP:MUSIC crucial guideline (See: WP:COI#What_is_a_conflict_of_interest.3F and WP:MUSIC#cite_note-selfpromo-0. I'm sorry if it appears I'm defending anything. I was merely trying to be of assistance as someone asked for documentation. Like I already said: please delete the whole entry or parts of it as you see fit. I'm sorry if this has caused any annoyance, you certainly seem quite upset.
Mr. Lagerfeldt, any user at WP knows where I am coming from (All it takes is a look at my User:Jrod2 page and see my labels). Don't take it personal and don't think for a minute that your actions at WP ever annoyed me. What I am trying to do is raise the bar of who qualifies for biographical encyclopedic articles at Wikipedia and who doesn't. You however act as if you've never been on these surroundings before. You and I know better. That said, the decision to keep or delete your article is NOT mine, and whatever decisions are taken at your AfD, I will stand by and uphold. Your case may just reaffirm the old benchmark on qualifications for creating people's articles and nothing more. I personally don't care if your page gets deleted or not, I care about how little it takes for someone like you to come to Wikipedia to create his own vanity page and get away with it on a technicality. Have a nice day. Jrod2 (talk) 15:31, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Congratulations, your case has reaffirmed the old benchmark on qualifications for an article at WP. The only reason you are allowed to have your own encyclopedic article is thanks to your work as songwriter co-author with SOAP and DJ Alligator which met our WP:MUSIC requirement. Now, why don't you write more facts about your life and career and put citations with footnotes since you've been given free rein to do so. You don't want a half empty page about you to be shown to the world, do you? Use your present username (User:Lagerfeldt). Using another one is no longer necessary. Happy editing, Holger Jrod2 (talk) 22:50, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
