Please only make absolutely neccessary changes such as additional information and the corrections of misleading and erroneous information. The language in the recent editing is awkward and unneccessary. Furthermore, some important words and phrases have been omitted. Why is this under Holga camera / why is there a redirect from Holga? This seems a bit nuts - 'camera' is obvious from the article and not precedented by other writeups I can see.

Removed "(perhaps a corruption of the Cantonese phrase ho gwong, meaning “very bright”)", there is no evidence to support this. Please leave out of article until a citation has been found. --Corpse1 21:50, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

I added "ho gwong" back into the article. I found it on a lomography website, there was no information however about the language and I don't know for sure whether or not it's in Cantonese so I'm not going to put that back in until I can be sure about the language. --ISeeDeadPixels 19:39, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Holga Chinese name

According to exhibition Cameras Inside-Out, the Chinese name of Holga should be "猴哥". It was produced by a company named "香港 (Hong Kong)宇宙 (cosmos)電子 (electron)". Here is a Chinese blog talking about that. --Dobs 11:16, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Holga is a medium format (6x6) film camera and has no "Image sensor". It has, however, a film frame and roll mechanism for those mad enough to use one --Roy 19:03 11 July 2007 (CEST)
