Holy Trinity Gateshead was officially opened on 14th January 2008 by the Rev David Holloway, Chairman of the Jesmond Trust and Vicar of Jesmond.
The church is sponsored by the Jesmond Trust. Following an invitation by a local Gateshead church they erected a new building and started a congregation.
The building is located in St James' Village opposite Gateshead Stadium and there are two services on a Sunday (10.30 for 10.45am and 6.30pm). More information is available on their website (www.holytrinitygateshead.org.uk) The church is Anglican in ethos and has a contemporary feel. The Jesmond Trust is associated with Jesmond Parish Church [1].
