Holy Cross Girls' High School (Dhaka)

Holy Cross Girl's High School is a Roman Catholic secondary school for girls founded in 1950 by the Sisters of the Holy Cross of Notre Dame, Indiana, United States, in Tejgaon in the city of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The school was founded as a kindergarten with two students, was converted to a primary school in 1952, and became a high school in 1953. In 1997, the school was awarded the 'Best National School' prize by the government of Bangladesh. By 1999, it had c. 1000 students in the morning shift and c. 500 students in the day shift.[1]
