Holta is a farm in Strand council in Rogaland, Norway. The farm is situated on the northern hills overlooking Bjørheimsvatn Lake. It is approximately 10 kilometers from Stavanger, with a 14-kilometer journey by sea.
On August 9, 1961, a passenger aeroplane transporting schoolboys from Lanfranc High School in the London Borough of Croydon, Britain crashed into the mountainside above the farm (Holtaheia). 34 students, two teachers and three crew members were killed.
