Holliston is a neighbourhood in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan that was developed during the housing shortage following the Second World War. [2] The Edmund Heights Limited Dividend Housing Project was constructed in Holliston in the 1950's to provide affordable housing for four decades.

8th Street East is the northern border of Holliston. Wiggins Avenue demarks the western perimeter, whereas Preston Avenue the eastern. As the neighborhood development progresses north from Taylor Street to Adelaide Street the grid layout is abandoned in favour of crescents.

Varsity Commons Shopping Centre provides a gas station and strip mall amenities within the neighbourhood. The 8th Street Arterial Commercial District on the southern border provides the community with access to a variety of retail experiences.

- George Ward Pool At 1915 5th Street East this outdoor pool hosts concession, diving boards, volleyball courts, green space, and barbecues. [3] The official opening was July 29, 1965. 29[4] The pool was named in honour of George Ward, Saskatoon's first Saskatoon Playgrounds Association's director(May 1930).[5] [6]

The Holliston Community Association provides sports and leisure activities to both Hollison Neighborhood and the eastern edge of the Haultain neighborhood. [10]

- Shaun Verreault of 'Wide Mouth Mason' attended Holliston Public Elementary School. During his public school years Safwan Javed, another band member moved here from Prince Edward Island and the two met and became friends. [11]
- George Ward, was a founding member of many recreational groups and events such as the Canadian Amateur Swimming Association, Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association, 1071 Canada Winter Games. He is honoured at the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame, as well as being the namesake of both George Ward Swimming Pool and the George Ward Citizenship Trophy. [12]
