Holland Patent High School

Holland Patent High School is a U.S. high school located in Holland Patent, New York, a village in Oneida County, central New York State, about twelve miles northwest of Utica and ten miles east of Rome. The area served by the school is primarily a residential bedroom community for several small to medium-sized cities.

Currently there are 611 students enrolled in the school, with an average class size of 23. Approximately 75% of the school's students attend college directly after graduation, with the remainder entering the work force or the military. The school's average SAT scores are 530 verbal and 534 math, and the average composite on the ACT is 23. A broad range of advanced placement courses is provided in addition to the usual high school curriculum. The school fields 39 teams in 16 different sports and offers many arts programs including music and drama studies.
