"Hold Me" is a song written by Carl Wilson and Myrna Smith for Carl Wilson's debut 1981 solo album Carl Wilson. More commonly known as a member of The Beach Boys, Carl Wilson decided to record a solo album in 1981. The song features Carl Wilson on lead vocals as well as himself and Myrna Smith on backing vocals.
The song was the first single to be released from the album and was indeed Carl's first ever solo single. The B-side was "Hurry Love", although the single failed to chart.
