Hoffman Plastic Compounds, Inc. v. NLRB is a 2002 decision by the United States Supreme Court which denied an award of back pay to an undocumented immigrant who had been laid-off for his part in a union organizing drive. The case is also generally read to require back pay in cases under the Fair Labor Standards Act for undocumented workers.
