[edit] Speedy deletion of Hodie Dodie

A tag has been placed on Hodie Dodie, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Domthedude001 03:01, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] September 2007

Please do not add unreferenced or controversial information about living persons to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Hodie Dodie. Thank you. If you want to write an article about yourself, you can do it on a blog. Domthedude001 03:03, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Specifically, there are many websites other than Wikipedia where you may start a blog or other page about yourself—including, but not limited to, LiveJournal, MySpace, and Blogger. —C.Fred (talk) 03:42, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] About the Speedy Deletion

I'm sorry to tell you this but-- no matter how much information about yourself you put into the article, it will be deleted by an admin. Look into Wikipedia's notability policy for more information. Cheers, Domthedude001 03:06, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Indeed. For the sake of thoroughness, I just did a Google search on "Hodie Dodie," which yielded no reliable sources. —C.Fred (talk) 03:10, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to ignore our policies by introducing inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as Hodie Dodie, you will be blocked. As was noted above, you must assert the notability of a subject before you can create an article about him/her. (See specifically WP:BIO.) Secondly, the assertions should be backed up by reliable sources. Please present your sources here or at Talk:Hodie Dodie before you recreate the article. —C.Fred (talk) 03:18, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you create an inappropriate page, such as Hodie dodie, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. —C.Fred (talk) 03:26, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. It would be appreciated if you would not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Free IQ. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. ViperSnake151 19:13, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Putting a protected tag on an article doesn't protect it. Only admins can protect a page. Corvus cornix 23:30, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 03:46, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thank you. Also, I'm glad to see you're editing articles productively :) Domthedude001 01:46, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your VandalProof Application

Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Hodiedodie. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. βcommand 23:58, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
