[edit] Flames

Whoever added the reference to Flames clearly knows Hoddesdon well. I was just wondering who edits this page... I'm from Hoddesdon and often edit this page and Sheredes, I was just curious. Simondrake 01:22, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

You can see the list of editors who have edited the article here. I've made a couple of edits and I'm an ex-Hoddesdoner (is that even a word?). I used to live on Sheredes Drive. Best, Gwernol 01:28, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. I had a look on the history page but a lot of it was spelling corrections, grammar, punctuation and link changes.Simondrake 02:26, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
I'm another ex-Hoddesdoner (Gwernol's set a precident!). Still work there but now live in Chessington. Didn't add the bit about Flames, though. --JimmyTheWig 16:10, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Historical info

I was thinking about adding some historic info to the article, so I figured I'd check no one watching this has any objections.

eg Doomsday book entries, market history

Go for it. I can't remember any of it from school history classes myself but if you can find something put it up.Simondrake 10:33, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Sounds good to me. I put in a bit about the market's history (e.g. hops and meat market) from stuff I read at Lowwood (sp?) House museum but if you've got more (especially if you've got quotable sources) then go for it.
