Hodgemoor Polish Camp plaque. The text reads:

"After the 2nd World War Polish soldiers of 3rd Carpathian Division arrived here from Italy and with their families lived in a camp on this site until 1962. Poland was not free for them to return. There are still many Polish families in the area."
