I'll put this in the discussion as it might not be kosher in the actual article - though those looking up the group probably won't be offended! In an interview with IndustrialnatioN magazine Erk said they chose the name Hocico because of its use in phrases like "callate el pinche Hocico" (shut your f'n mouth) and "te voy a romper el Hocico" (I'll kick your ass) to basically convey the band's sound. The literal translation is already in the article, but I thought elaborating might help a little. In any case don't ask me Spanish questions! - Just writing what I read (IN Issue 17) Khiradtalk 04:12, 8 December 2005 (UTC)

WP:NOT#Wikipedia is not censored for the protection of minors. People who would be offended by that should better not look at the discography, as well, especially the cute "Live in Israel". Trying to sanitize Hocico is unnecessary, and would be disinformative. I have added "callate"; the other probably (no hablo español!) literally translates as "i am going to stomp you in the face"; I think putting that in the article as "kicking ass" would be too confusing for English readers. [edit] pinche bot...

Someone corrected the translation -- 'shut your fucking snout' is accurate. 'Shut your damned mouth' is not.

I'd fix it back again except.... I don't want to have a pinche revert war with a pinsche bot that arbitrarily decides somehting is vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.87.20.98 (talk) 06:15, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Their lyrics are mostly sung in English. Their latest record is entirely sung in English. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.165.77.243 (talk) 18:00, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
