Hockley-in-the-Hole is a location in London where bull-baiting and bear-baiting and similar activities were held in the 17th century and 18th century.[1]

Hockley-in-the-hole is present day Ray Street which runs between Warner Street and Farringdon Lane in Camden and Islington.

The Famous Coach and Horses pub which is located on the old Bear garden is located on the border of these two London boroughs
