[edit] Iqaluit Whales
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Iqaluit Whales, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] License tagging for Image:IqaluitWhales.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:IqaluitWhales.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:09, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of Iqaluit Whales
I've nominated Iqaluit Whales, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Iqaluit Whales satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Iqaluit Whales and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Iqaluit Whales during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. --WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 01:20, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image tagging for Image:Iqaluit Whales.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Iqaluit Whales.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:Onorem, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Shenme 19:28, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. — $PЯINGrαgђ 20:13, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi. Here's the problem. The "user page" for a user is supposed to be their's to edit, with their text. So when you edit your user page and add something impolite, that's 'okay' (well, up to a point at which what you add is offensive to anyone reading it). But when you edit someone else's user page, people get worried and upset. Saying the same thing on their talk page would be perfectly okay.
And if you're upset at me reverting your comments at User talk:Onorem, I may have too abrupt, but people are trying to protect each other from abuse. Just like trying to protect your friend Fredil Yupigo. And sometimes we get it wrong. (Recently someone forgot to login, and they were happily doing questionable things to their user page, and all got reverted. I left a note worrying that someone was attacking, and they later logged in, sorta thanked me, and redid 'some' of the changes) This is all complicated, and with a million users even more so. I hope you can figure this all out. Shenme 20:36, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
