SPACE is certainly a printable character, but DEL isn't so we have printable characters from 32 to 126, which by my count is 95 printable characters... Mpolo 11:15, Feb 16, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Harry Potter Injunction.pdf
Thanks for uploading Image:Harry Potter Injunction.pdf. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 21:23, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] AfD Nomination: Lobster Magnet
I've nominated the article Lobster Magnet for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Lobster Magnet satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lobster Magnet. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of Lobster Magnet during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. - I came here to let you know that someone had nominated Lobster Magnet for deletion, but I see that was unnecessary. Whenever I've had my new articles deleted, no one's ever been courteous enough to let me know they were being considered. Tevildo must be very nice. Still, I like the lobster magnet page, and I hope you can add some convincing argument on why it should be kept. Baiter 08:19, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- Just a few personal comments apart from the boilerplate text above. I personally like "Lobster Magnet", but Wikipedia policy is (unfortunately) not to keep this sort of thing - "Gonads and Strife" has gone, "Terrible Secret of Space" has gone, "Trazan and Papan" has gone, "Kitty Cat Dance" and "Llama Song" are on their way out. The bar is set very high; "Lobster Magnet" needs to demonstrate that it's up there with "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" to stand a chance. I'm sorry, again. Tevildo 18:04, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

- Nope, sorry! As I outlined in this post on Kuro5hin, it's from The Adventures of Hobart Floyt and Alacrity Fitzhugh by Brian Daley. :-) I'll have to check out The Neverhood, I hadn't seen it!
- Cheers,
