This particular photograph is a posed publicity photograph of Hobart Freeman ca 1970s, which has been published on the cover of every one of his books pamphlets etc seen to date, and was used to illustrate the article "Hobart Freeman: Mystic, Monk or Minister" by John J. Davis, which was published in the Times-Union newspaper of Warsaw Indiana in 1983, which was a year before his death.

This is to illustrate the subject of this article.

Replaceable?

The subject has been deceased for many years, so a new original image cannot be made, and his congregation has become widely dispersed over the years, so sourcing a photograph from one of them would be very difficult. In addition those found in newspapers are two-tone and very faded.
