Hobbledehoy Record Co. is an independent record label based in Victoria, Australia, starting out from a suburban bedroom in 2006. Regarded as primarily an emo/indie-rock label, Hobbledehoy caught widespread national attention when touring Bob Nanna (as The City on Film) for the first time in Australia in August 2007.
The current Hobbledehoy artiste roster consists of Sydney's Oh Messy Life, Chicago's The City on Film (Bob Nanna of Braid/Hey Mercedes fame), Perth's The Leap Year and Arrows, which hails from the Sunshine Coast.
The label's latest signing is Melbourne's Blueline Medic, who will release their Hobbledehoy debut 7" in the coming months.
