Hr.Ms. Tromp (F803) (Common English HNLMS Tromp) is a De Zeven Provinciën class frigate. It should not be mistaken with the Hr. Ms. Tromp (F801) Tromp class frigate. It is commanded by Captain H. Itzig Heine.[1] Before this one, several other Dutch navy ships were named Hr.Ms. Tromp, see Hr.Ms. Tromp for a list. They all have been named after Maarten Harpertszoon Tromp and his son Cornelis Tromp.
