[edit] Hajduk

Hajduk for most of its history was a very strong European team. Through its history and before European competition of the 50s it would beat the best. Of late the club has just become a transfer pot...the club has failed to deliver to Torcida fans the days prior to the 90s........ The club has has some big names on its books ...list includes Bernard Vukas and Valdimir Beara who both made the wrold team by still playing club football at Hajduk. In later years many Yugo internationls played for the club including 10 Hajduk players in the first 11...a world record 1/4 of what was called GOLDEN FOUR...along with Dinamo, Zvezda and Partizan ...the four strongest teams in the former Yugo.... Sad to see today the club only lives of transfers yet countries like Greece, Turkey and Belgium have all past all the former Yugo countries in the quality of local-domestic leagues. In days gone buy these were regarded as easy beats , today its the other way around.....sad considering the amount of natural talent they produce, much higher than that in Greece and Turkey....

"Hajduk has never worn any other kit but the white shirt, blue shorts and white socks (home kit)."

And why are there blue socks on the right side? ;-)

"Torcida is not a word taken from other languages, it is pride of Croatian Republic."

Erm....Yes.Delete?

[edit] Drazen Muzinic

Hi. I recently set up a page for Drazen Muzinic who played for a while in England. However, I have not been able to get many details of his time with Hajduk Split, and information about him generally is difficult to get hold of! If anyone has any career information that they could add to his article, then please do so. Thanks! User:Demonicanglian 20:38, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Oldest club?

I'm removing the bit about Hajduk being Croatia's oldest club. Slaven Belupo from Koprivnica was founded four yeasr earlier, in 1907. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.10.50.73 (talk) 09:29:48, August 19, 2007 (UTC)

Howdy. I'm a Hajduk Split supporter and I've noticed that, with other famous players, Branko Oblak was listed as Croat, wich is not true. He is Slovenian, I guess that flag next to his name should be changed. Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brane_Oblak 89.172.96.232 07:11, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Hajduk's Logo.gif

Image:Hajduk's Logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:15, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Club logo

Shouldn't the official logo have 19 11 instead of the four white lines on its sides? --DIREKTOR (TALK) 10:22, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

That's usually a contentious subject, but since the official website has the lines, it seems like a safer bet.--Thewanderer (talk) 21:21, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

I see, thanks. --DIREKTOR (TALK) 22:02, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
