[edit] New Order Linkages
Is it really nessacery to have an article for every single NO single? I wrote the Blue Monday, True Faith and TPK ones originally, as they are their most notable tracks. Crystal and Regret probably deserve and article too, but some of the singles were total fluff - no way does Someone Like You need or deserve an article, or even a redlink.
Kiand 11:24, 22 Oct 2004 (UTC)
Hmm, I was planning to work my way thorugh them all, sort of as a basic discography of sorts. I agree some of them are rubbish, but are worth having for reference (although this may be considered outside of the scope of Wikipedia).
- It is a bit outside the scope. I'm not going to touch the pages, but don't expect some angry Duran Duran fan to not put a delete header on them all :-) Kiand 11:34, 22 Oct 2004 (UTC)
Alright, cheers. :)

[edit] Blue Monday
Any chance you could vote to get Blue Monday (New Order song) put back where it is meant to be? Vote is on its talk page; we have some 1950's music elitists objecting... --Kiand 22:43, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah, we've got a situation where ONE REMIX of the real Blue Monday is better know than the Fats Domino version, and -one sampling- of the track is almost as popular as the Gershwin opera.
- They're utter music snobs. One of them accused me of not appreciated 'other genres of music' and then said that Dance was 'just 1970s disco'. FFS.
- I probably actually -play-, as in perform (I DJ and I do emergency vocals for a friends band) more genres of music than they listen to.

[edit] Panasonic M2
You created Panasonic M2 which seems to be a copyright voilation of this website. Do you own the website or do you need to go back and remove the copyrighted material? Make sure you check out Wikipedia:Copyrights.--Commander Keane 23:21, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
- I thought it seemed strange, sorry about that, I'll give the website an email. Where did you get the $100,000,000. figure for the article, an anon. was curious, so am I?--Commander Keane 10:14, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] This Charming Man
I figure I'll nominate it for featured article status sometime in the very near future. I wanted to find the book "The songs that saved your life" and work in any information found there, but I wasn't able to get my hands on it. IMHO, its still a pretty solid article. [edit] Image tagging for Image:Smithspromo1.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Smithspromo1.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Haiku
We've had quite a few requests for the Haiku logo in SVG. I know it's a little dated, but its the best we've got to offer to contributors :) Sorry about my tone with the changes; I hadnt meant to sound rude! A simpler screenshot is required in the future, when things are better developed - things wont need to be advertised as much -- [Beta] 00:21, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Haikunew icons.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:Haikunew icons.png. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz S. (Talk) 14:29, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Parttwo02.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Parttwo02.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Outhud.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Outhud.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
